On occasions we do have opportunities for future staff to come into the falconry world via a volunteers role within the company. All our positions are a responsible and important part of the company and you will be asked to on occasions attend training courses, events and represent Lavenham Falconry.


At present we have vacancies for weekday staff working in the following areas

Scales tails & Talons

Trainee exotic zoo handler

Duties include

Cleaning the reptile room, feeding, weighing and monitoring and keeping up to date with weekly reports. Also you may be asked to work within our visitors centre/reception.

Trainee bird of prey handler

Duties include

Cleaning the bird of prey enclosures, maintaining, training and exercising the birds. Work also include the cleaning of the food preparation room, quarantine and staff room.You will also be asked to prepare meat for the birds of prey,
You may be asked to work within our visitors centre/reception.

Lavenham falconry will provide full training, uniform and ppe equipment to work within these roles.
